NORWAY

WOW!!

I'm thrilled to share the exciting news that I'll be leading a team to Norway for three months, from March to June. My anticipation is brimming at the thought of what the Lord is about to unfold in the hearts of the Norwegians we'll encounter. The presence of the Holy Spirit is palpable whenever I pray or reflect on the incredible journey awaiting us in Norway.

Allow me to delve a bit into my personal connection with Norway – with family ties on both sides hailing directly from Norway, a profound longing and desire to visit Norway have always resonated within me. In January, I embarked on a discipleship training school in New Zealand. During this transformative period, I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful married couple, Larz & Lydia, who are originally from Norway and currently living there. As we engaged in conversations about Norway, the idea of joining the staff at YWAM Grimruid in Norway, where they live, was presented to me. The prospect filled me with immediate excitement, prompting me to seek God's guidance on whether this was His plan for me post-DTS.

In His wisdom, God revealed that my next steps wouldn't become clear until I returned home. Patiently and eagerly awaiting His direction during outreach, I found myself facing unexpected guidance. Instead of Norway, I was directed to return to Kona and take on a staffing role there. The confusion set in, and I questioned God, wondering why He had ignited such a passion for Norway if that wasn't where I was meant to be. Yet, I held onto faith, trusting that the Lord was orchestrating something deeper that I didn't see.

Fast forward to the last three months, where my passion for Norway only deepened. I earnestly asked God if leading a team to Norway was part of His plan for me. Feeling a sense of peace, when the time came to select regions, I placed my faith in the Lord's guidance and chose Europe. Unsure if a Norway team would even materialize, I held firm to the belief that I would be precisely where the Lord intended.

Upon completing three transformative months on the North side of the island in Kohala, the revelation of our designated locations finally arrived. To my immense joy, Norway emerged as the destination I would be leading my team to! The realization that what God had placed in my heart for the people of Norway was coming to fruition filled me with excitement. I eagerly anticipate experiencing firsthand the divine work that God has been stirring up in Norway!

In prayer, we have felt such a stirring upon seeing the youth in Norway marked with a fierceness for the gospel and witnessing Jesus move in their churches, schools, and families. A hunger is arising in Norway, and passivity is being broken off the people as they go out with boldness into their neighborhoods and to the nations.

Two nights ago, we received our outreach revelation, and we now have the students for our teams. I am so excited to see where the Lord takes our team! I will keep making updates on what is happening here in Kona as we continue to plan for Norway!
