new opportunities

I've been back in Hawaii now for the past three weeks and God has given me so many opportunites to step out and grow! The first thing I had the opportunity to help with was a "kids day" we put on with the local Kohala youth. We were able to play games and get to know the kids on a personal level and were put in teams where I got to step out in leadership with my co-counsolor!

I was also given the chance to be apart of a team of ten going to O'ahu to serve at a camp called Camp Agape, where we will be working with kids of incarcerated parents for a couple of days! This is an amazing chance to reach some locals on another island. I'll be at the camp from the 9th-12th of November, and this ministry opportunity is about $400 for the four days, including the plane tickets and cost of the camp; so any support would be greatly appreciated!

As a track we were also given the chance to volunteer during the IronMan this year, which was such a cool experience! We were able to come alongside the other volunteers and help man one of the stations where we were giving out drinks and food to the athletes during the biking portion of the race. This was a great chance to get involved with the community and see such an amazing feat of athleticism!

These are just a few of the stories I have from the past few weeks of God moving in increadible ways to give me opportunities that help me grow and learn!
